Retired Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has unveiled his new signature shoes in collaboration with athletic fashion giant Puma.
The shoes were officially released last weekend, with Bolt sharing a post on X, formerly Twitter, where he sported a big smile while holding a pair of the footwear.
He referred to the shoes as his “signature shoes,” as his official signature is stamped on each pair.
“Smiling bcuz I know my peeps gonna really love my new signature shoes,” Bolt wrote on X.
The footwear’s design features black Puma suede at the front and blue leather towards the back. It also has a double logo, consisting of Bolt’s famous lightning pose and the Puma emblem.
The shoes include Paris-inspired details, such as the coordinates of Stade de France, where the 2024 Olympic Games are being held, as well as a map of Paris on the soles in Puma’s signature gold.
This marks the second collaboration with Puma since Bolt signed a lifetime partnership deal with the fashion brand in 2021.
During the COVID-delayed 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Puma and Bolt collaborated to release an iteration of the Puma Basket shoes, with a design full of details inspired by Tokyo.
